This privacy policy explains how Hassan Nobeeboccus ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website (hassannobeeboccus.com) and subscribe to email communications.

1. Data controller

I collect the following personal data:

• Email address and first name when you subscribe to the email course or newsletter via the opt-in form on this site
• Name, email and message content when you use the contact form
• Usage data anonymised analytics data including pages visited, approximate geographic location (country level), device type and referral source

I do not collect payment information, sensitive personal data or data from children under 16.

3. How I collect your data

• Email opt-in forms powered by MailerLite. When you submit the form, your data is processed by MailerLite on my behalf.
• Contact form powered by Formspree. When you submit the contact form, your data is processed by Formspree and forwarded to me via email.
• Analytics this site may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

4. How I use your data

I use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To deliver the email course you signed up for
• To respond to messages sent via the contact form
• To send occasional updates about content, services or resources relevant to football development professionals (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To understand how visitors use this website so I can improve it

5. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

• Consent when you submit the opt-in form, you consent to receiving the email course and related communications. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Legitimate interest for anonymised website analytics, to improve the website and understand how it is used.

6. Third-party processors

Your data may be processed by the following third parties, all of which have their own privacy policies and data processing agreements:

• MailerLite email service provider, used to store subscriber data and send emails (including both email courses). MailerLite is based in the European Union and complies with applicable data protection standards.
• Formspree form processing service, used to handle contact form submissions.
• Vercel website hosting provider. Vercel also measures visits and page speed for me, in aggregate only, without identifying you.
• Google Analytics web analytics service (loaded only with your cookie consent). IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

7. Data retention

I retain your email address and first name for as long as you remain subscribed to my email list. If you unsubscribe, your data will be removed from active mailing lists. MailerLite may retain a record of your email address to honour your unsubscribe request.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the following rights:

• The right to access the personal data I hold about you
• The right to rectification if your data is inaccurate
• The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• The right to restrict processing
• The right to data portability
• The right to object to processing

9. Cookies

This website uses essential cookies required for the site to function. It also uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights on every page without asking for consent. Neither sets cookies or stores anything on your device. They count visits and measure page speed using a temporary identifier rebuilt from each request and discarded within 24 hours, so you aren't tracked between visits or across sites. Google Analytics is different. It only loads if you choose Accept in the cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the cookie preferences button at the bottom of any page. No advertising cookies are used anywhere on the site. If you'd rather I didn't count your visit, email me and I'll explain how to opt out.

10. Changes to this policy

I may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
